Our Friendly Returns Policy

Of course we abide by the NZ Consumers Guarantees Act, and we are happy to provide a refund, repair, exchange or store credit for faulty items, ...really, who wouldn't?! 

Plus, we really believe in our products, we are meticulous, all internal seams are over-locked, external seams top-stitched, and we thoroughly inspect every garment as we go and before we add it to our racks. 

Nevertheless, we also go above and beyond the laws of the consumer guarantees act and we are happy to provide an exchange or store credit if it's as simple as it doesn't fit the way you expected or you've changed your mind.  In this case, you will need to return the original garment to us in new condition, tracked, at your cost, we will send your new garment (same value) via courier at our cost.  

If you have any concerns about your garment(s) or wish to exchange please get in touch with us within 30 days of purchase.    

We only offer a full refund in the event that the product is faulty or damaged prior to delivery.  If you change your mind or your item does not fit as expected we are very happy to offer you a replacement item or store credit.

We reserve the right to refuse a returned product that is damaged by the recipient due to lack of care or disregard of care or washing instructions.  We will reimburse postage for damaged, defective or incorrectly sent items only.

How to Make a Return

Please make sure you give us a daytime telephone number or your email address so we can contact you.

Once we have received the returned products we will notify you by phone or email of your exchange, credit note or refund entitlement.

Goods are returned to Nora's Closet LTD at your own expense unless the item is faulty. Please ensure all items are packaged securely and are returned to us by registered mail with a tracking number. Please note that Nora's Closet NZ is not responsible for the damage or loss of items being returned.

Exchanges

You can exchange any goods within 30 days of purchase. If you wish to exchange an item please contact us by email :  priv@norascloset.co.nz as soon as possible to reserve another item.   If you have decided to exchange for an item with a different dollar value we will credit or debit your card to match the difference. Please do not send us cash or checks, we only deal with electronic payments.

If the same style is being exchanged for a different size or colour, once we receive your return we will send out your new item/items free of charge.

Credits

If you wish to receive a credit for your purchase we will apply it as a credit note to your Personal Nora's Closet LTD account and when you make your next purchase you will be able to deduct the value of the credit from the total value on the checkout page. Please note credit notes are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

Refunds

We only offer refunds for orders which are damaged or faulty.  Your refund will be credited back to your bank account and will exclude delivery costs, unless the item is faulty. Please be aware it may take several days for the refund to show in your account.

Faulty Goods/Incorrect Items

At Nora's Closet, we take great care checking all orders to ensure the goods you receive meet our quality standards and that we are sending you exactly what you asked for. However, if you do receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us to arrange a replacement with free delivery.

Faulty or damaged items must be returned within 14 days of purchase.

Please be aware that general wear and tear of products does not constitute a refund. Nora's Closet will where possible replace or repair any goods deemed to be faulty, if purchased within the last 6 months. If we are unable to do this, a credit note or refund will be provided.

Sale Items

We do not accept exchange or refund requests for special product mark downs, samples, sale item or items that are no longer stocked unless the goods are unknowingly defective.
